There are two big problems that threaten the existence of human being. On one hand, the excessive population and urban growth that, contributes to city’s energy demand and contamination of the environment. And, on the other, sedentary lifestyle that affects negatively on people’s health and economy. Both problems and their consequences can be mitigated by the implementation of a network of spaces that collect and store kinetic energy from the people to be transformed into electricity which could be transferred to the city's power grid, road lighting, traffic networks, among other uses.

Existen dos grandes fenómenos en el mundo que amenazan la existencia del ser humano. Por un lado, el crecimiento poblacional desmedido, el cual en su mayoría se instalará en las zonas urbanas del planeta, contribuyendo a la demanda energética y contaminación del medio ambiente. Y, por el otro, el sedentarismo. Ambos problemas y sus consecuencias pueden ser mitigados mediante la implementación de una red de espacios que recolecten y almacenen la energía cinética generada por las personas para ser transformada en energía eléctrica y luego ser utilizada en satisfacer necesidades básicas.
