Lola is inspired by the student’s roots and the experience her family lived in Equatorial Guinea between 1940 and 1960, when this territory was a Spanish colony. Lola is also the name of her aunt, who worked as a tailor; a profession that serves as a starting point for the collection in order to reinterpret classic male tailoring within the female universe. The proposal aims to transmit an image of a strong and independent woman through oversized silhouettes that mix the two cultures: the Guinean and the Spanish. Prints with tropical motifs are mixed with browns, whites, blacks and blues in fabrics such as cotton, twill, poplin, linen and hessian, materials typical of the period.

Lola se inspira en las raíces de la estudiante y la experiencia que su familia vivió en Guinea Ecuatorial entre 1940 y 1960, cuando este territorio era colonia española. Lola es también el nombre de su tía, quien se dedicaba a la sastrería, profesión que sirve como punto de partida de la colección para reinterpretar la clásica sastrería masculina dentro del universo femenino. La propuesta quiere transmitir una imagen de mujer fuerte e independiente mediante siluetas oversized que mezclan las dos culturas: la guineana y la española. Los estampados con motivos tropicales se mezclan con colores marrones, blancos, negros y azules en tejidos como el algodón,la sarga, el popelin, el lino o la tela de saco, materiales propios de la época.
